Voicemail feature missing on the Kompakt

Hello, I don’t receive any kind of notification nor information on my Kompakt when someone leaves me a voicemail after I miss a call. Is there something I need to setup? Thanks for your help

Press [1] on Mudita Kompakt to Dial Voicemail Number?

Might we get an update to MuditaOS K (now at 1.1.1) so that we can press [1] on the Kompakt to dial our carrier’s voicemail number? Coincidentally, I asked this same question three years ago about the Pure. But, I never took possession of a Pure cellphone, so I do not know what happened with respect to the Pure. Yeah this is one of the major features that has me considering returning. I’m willing to live with a lot that is subpar, that’s the point of having a simple stripped down phone, but it still needs to be a phone. Being able to see if I have a new voicemail is tech I had in the 80s.

I guess I’m fortunate in that I pulled the SIM card out of my deceased dad’s phone and put it in the Kompakt. The voicemail is not setup and so anybody who calls it will get a recording that the voicemail is not setup. Since they can’t leave a message, I’ll just call back any calls I missed

Wow. Is this currently an issue with 1.5? I just missed a call and now wondering if they left I voice mail. I can’t tell.

Yep, had my wife send me a voice mail. No idea there’s a message waiting.

VM notification via WMI was introduced in 1.6. (If that’s how your carrier handled voicemail)
VM notification via text message has always been supported (that’s how my carrier handles VM)
