In my case also just one alarm
But then let’s say you get an official text message or your’re expecting a package and you get info about it in SMS. So you won’t receive these?
In similar tone, settings menu also keeps hold of the fact that it was scrolled down. I struggle to remember how it’s like on regular Android but feels a bit strange. Low priority thing tho. Much much lower than text input auto-correct capabilities. ![]()
This should be an option. I have learned how to use this option. I turn it off, if I am expecting a message from someone – such as a company – that is not yet in my contacts list. Once I get such a message, I add to my contacts list that company’s 5- or 6-digit shortcode or toll-free number or whatever else the company used to text-message me.
It sounds interesting, I have never seen other phone that can do this. I’d be happy enough to be able to block spam numbers. (so rather a blacklisting).
I have seen many cellphones do this. Plus, the Kompakt already already allows us to block calls from hidden numbers, to block calls from unrecognized numbers, and to build a blacklist of incoming-call numbers to block.
I am asking for the ability to block text messages from unrecognized numbers (i.e., “Only allow text messages from your saved contacts”).
And, you have another good suggestion: the ability to block text messages on a “Blocked Numbers” list (a blacklist).
Yes I understood your request and I am aware of the current features of the Kompakt. ![]()
@kirkmahoneyphd Got it. That’s a really cool feature to have. I will pass it on. But- I may be having a blonde moment here…LOL
Would ‘block calls from unrecognized numbers’ be the same thing?
You know, - a contact being a RECOGNIZED number. But I may be confused.
I never thought about this. This is a good idea.
My issue with spam calls is that they change the number every time they call. And I am afraid of missing an unexpected, important phone call (even though that never happens). Maybe I need to just take the leap and block all unknown.
Here is my understanding, but you can ask your developers to confirm:
- Block hidden numbers (Only allow calls that show their numbers):
This option lets you block calls from a caller who first typed *67 before entering your number to call you, as *67 keeps you from seeing the caller’s number. - Block unrecognised numbers (Only allow calls from your saved contacts):
This option lets you block calls from anyone who is not in your contacts list. - Blocked Numbers:
This option lets you block calls from numbers that you have entered manually.
Do you have any suggestions on how we should provide feedback about our initial experiences? (I.e. maybe there should a thread per app or something similar?). I think a lot of us are eager to provide feedback but right now everyone creates a new thread each time, containing a mix of all feedback. Just curious how it would be must useful for everyone, and the Mudita team?
I received a mail from the store asking me “how is your mudita kompakt experience?” with a typeform to fill. Not the best way to give a full feedback but that a beginning.
Thanks, I already completed this one and was glad to see it. But I agree with you, it wasn’t the ideal format for more specific feedback needed within a given app or experience - it was more high level
Just a fun new feature I discovered in the music player on the way home. The shuffle function works backwards as well. So if you want to listen to the previous song again…good luck! ![]()
It’s good idea, make a unique thread for each app.
hahah omg…
Hi there.
Im having trouble getting Githubs UAD to recognise the Kompakt.
USB debugging switched on in dev options.
Edit : Ok I managed to get UAD to work but I cant seem to see the apps I installed in there or any apps on the git hub UAD interface…
Any ideas?
That’s kind of epic tbh
Well it definitely made my day ![]()
@brendxn We will be sending out sending out emails to users who have received their Mudita Kompakt asking for feedback and inquiring about their experience and initial reviews. This way, all your suggestions will go to ONE department and will be reviewed by the appropriate Mudita Team.
Posting feedback on the Forum also works because it gives others ideas & you can get feedback what other users thing of the idea.
