Customer support thread (all questions welcome)

Absolutely! The discount didn’t work because the phone was discounted but I wanted to make sure Laura was credited for the sale.
She did such an awesome breakdown I would hate for her not to be attributed to my purchase because or the evil honey app.
Did you get yours yet?

@nba That’s the HOTSPOT

@kirkmahoneyphd I don’t think this is possible. I will check with out team if this is an intentional limitation or just how the app works.

i like how the mediation cards fit in the pouch (kinda)

Another suggestion to schedule frontlight. Something similar to “bedtime” routine on some smartphones. Say, 9pm - 6am let there be frontlight per the last intensity setting, outside of those hours keep it off.

@sum_user That’s unusual. Can you please verify that you do have the correct password. Additionally, do you by any chance have a firewall on your device? It’s not uncommon for Firewalls to block our device.

FYI: I am unsure as to which of my posts you were responding. The reason is that the “Load parent post” feature in Mudita Forum stopped working (for me, anyway) several weeks ago (perhaps with an overhaul of the Forum?). Were you responding to this one?:

  • “Any Way to Rename a Location in the Kompakt Weather App?”

For comparison, the Weather app on my Sunbeam Wireless F1 Orchid names each location by the ZIP Code, if that is how I looked up a location.

Hi @urszula! This was resolved after I used my sim card to download the latest update and re-entered the wifi details. All seems well now, thank you!

I received my Mudita K today and have (just about) managed to get my essential contacts on the device. Now for my calendar events. I don’t see way to import calendar events either via Mudita Center or dropping a .ics events into the file system. Please advise accordingly.

Many thanks.

Any Way to Block Incoming Non-Contacts in Kompakt SMS App?

Is there a way in the Kompakt’s SMS app to block incoming text messages from cellphone numbers that are not in the Phone app’s Contacts list?

This would be similar to the “Call Blocking” feature in the Phone app.

My Sunbeam Wireless F1 Orchid has this ‘Text Blocking’ feature, and it has helped me to avoid receiving many spammy text messages. (I know from experience. Whenever I disabled text blocking, I got lots of text-messaged spam.)

Blocking a text-message spammer one by one is NOT efficient.

Alarm clock
I know someone has mentioned it before, but couldn’t find it.
My alarm is always a few minutes late. I just know because I have a backup alarm (after I read that the Mudita might skip the alarm) I always have the phone in Offline+ for the night, I don’t know if it has anything to do with the alarm.
Anyone else has experienced the same?

The same happened to me this morning! My 7.00 alarm started ringing at 7.06!

When I bring up a list of calls or an SMS list, this is the moment at which the phone retrieves any updates from memory - so you can clearly see the list update happening in front of your eyes. Is this functioning as designed? Does it has anything to do with e-ink/battery optimization? I believe if the phone somehow remembers the previous state of a certain view, it shouldn’t have a problem in remembering an updated state of it…?

@kirkmahoneyphd I think you want a whitelist feature? Am I understanding this correctly?

@asede How many alarms do you have set?

In my case it was only one.

I am looking for the equivalent to “Allow incoming messages from contacts only” on my AOSP-based Sunbeam Wireless flip-phone:

Thanks!

Would be great to have an option to take photo on the spot when trying to attach to an SMS.
Also, would be great to have a vibration when screenshot is taken.
