I apologize, @urszula. The title of this thread made me believe that the customer-support team monitors this thread.

  • I did write last night to support@mudita.com about the missing case, as I was unsure which contact approach to use.

  • I will write today to support@mudita.com for confirmation (hopefully!) that I got the Global version in spite of what the paperwork says.

Taking a leap of faith here:

Can we get some substantive update on the NA versions? Good or bad, I don’t discriminate. I know they are still scheduled to be shipped in May, but I think a lot of us just want to know a little more about the current status.

I wonder,

Since i set up a location for the weather and dont really use maps as i have work phone with quite a big screen for that in case of traveling can i turn off the gps all together and will the weather app still work the same?

Plus to the USB tethering issue, WLAN hotspot seems to not work for me. :frowning:
EDIT: It works, had to change the SSID. My laptop remembered one with the same name and thus password change alone was not enough for it to work.
Contrary to USB tethering, WiFi hotspot doesn’t blow up every time you unlock the phone.

Another two:

  • when you tap the date on the main screen, it brings you to the calendar, but it brings you to the day you were displaying last time, not current day; I think it would be more logical to have it displayed on current day when the day is tapped;
  • with the fingerprint sensor, it seems that it goes to sleep after some time and you can only unlock the screen after pressing the button - PIN screen shows and fingerprint sensor becomes active again; at the same time, hard to bring just the regular lock screen (with time) up because of that transition: locklock → PIN.

OK - probably a stupid question. But On the Control Centre, what is the symbol above Airplane mode and to the right of wifi? I have it switched off, but have no idea what it does. Thanks.

You mean the wave that goes both to left and right? That’s Wi-Fi Hotspot.
Hold it and it should move you to its settings.

Is there a way to delete telephone numbers from the “Recents” page of the Phone app in the Mudita Kompakt?

Any Way to Memorize a Group in Kompakt SMS App?

I have a group of people in my contacts to which I sometimes send a text message. Is there a way to create and save a group in the SMS app of the Mudita Kompakt so that I can send a text message to that group without re-selecting the individual contacts for each such instance?

Any Way to Rename a Location in the Kompakt Weather App?

I live in a large U.S. city in which I like to track weather in two ZIP Codes that are twenty miles (32 kilometers) apart. The Kompakt Weather app let me easily add each location to the Locations page by searching for each of those ZIP Codes. Unfortunately, the Locations page gives the two locations (the two ZIP Codes) the same name – the name of the city in which I live. Is there any way to rename a location in the Locations page? For example, I might name one “Home” and the other “Running Park”.

I received my Mudita Kompakt today and for some reason the wifi keeps disconnecting right after it links. I get the checkmark and the chime, and then when I go to use the Updater or Weather, there is no connection. Any ideas?

I recently purchased the Mudita Kompact and wanted to share a quick note regarding the affiliate link attribution. I intended to support Laura Malvoyante, as her content and insights were the key inspiration behind my decision to buy the phone.

However, I’m concerned the affiliate link may not have been properly attributed due to two factors:

  1. The Honey browser extension – This tool automatically applies coupons at checkout, and it’s known that in some cases it can interfere with or override affiliate tracking cookies.
  2. Because of this concern, I eventually completed the purchase in a fresh browser session (without extensions), but I’m unsure if Laura still received proper credit for the sale.

Is there a way to confirm or ensure that the purchase is correctly attributed to her? I’d really like to support her work in any way I can.

Is it possible to import and export contacts from the SIM card? If yes, how? I tried to figure it out last night but no luck.

I also struggled with that. I had to add a few contacts manually because I couldn’t find a way to copy them from the SIM card.

I’m not sure the links work while the Kompakt is still in pre-order status. Or at least that was the case with some of the promo codes for other youtubers channel. However my info is from the time when the Kompakt was cheaper, Mudita didn’t want people to be able to buy the Kompakt cheaper (with the promo codes applied) than it costed for the Kickstarter or Indiegogo backers. Which makes a lot of sense.
