@topo Then yes, getting an exchange could be beneficial. I used Kompakt all over Padova & never had any issues. It could be your unit.

@urszula Ok, thank you for the information. I’ll try to solve this in a WINDTRE (my carrier) service point otherwise I’ll arrange a solution with customer service. They just told me also that a replacement is possible, it would be the best option for me, I can’t wait to be able to use my Kompakt as my main and only device! Thank you very much for your availability and support

Hi, I keep having the problem with tethering via USB, every time I unlock the phone tethering goes off. Is anyone able to reproduce this behavior?

That’s odd. I’m going to test this out. I haven’t experienced this, but then again, I usually just WiFi Tether. I will report this to the devs right away.

A strange thing/little bug? I have haptic feedback on the buttons for back, home, and control center, and when I lock the phone and then press any of those buttons, they give feedback even though the phone is locked. Sometimes just with one press, sometimes with two or three presses.

@denguefeber Can you please check your ADVANCED Sound Settings?
Are all of the off?
If you have all of them off, there should not be any feedback or vibration.
Maybe you have some sideloaded apps?
Thanks @urszula, but the thing is that I want vibration feedback, but preferably not after I have locked the screen/phone. 
That’s what I find funny. That the phone gives feedback on the buttons when it is locked.

@denguefeber Do you have a sideloaded launcher installed? Or some other apps?
Yes, I do. Minimo launcher and some few other apps.

@denguefeber It’s most likely the launcher doing this. Can you check the settings there?
It could be. Minimo Launcher doesn’t have any vibration settings or the like. Does your phone not give this vibration feedback I’m talking about, @urszula? I reckon you don’t have an alternative launcher? If not, then it may be my launcher.

@denguefeber We do have it, but not as specific as you described that’s why I was confused.
You mentioned that you have set “feedback on the buttons for back, home, and control center,” but here’s the thing, we don’t have settings for specific buttons, so that’s what threw me off.
Ah, I get it! It was me who was just thinking about the buttons that vibrate when haptic feedback is turned on. I now realize that it also provides feedback when you dial a number, for example. But the little bug still remains; why is there feedback when the phone is locked?

@denguefeber I will ask the team about this.
I got my Mudita Kompact (USA) in yesterday. I am not able to receive MMS messages or RCS messages. I’ve read about this problem eslewhere, but I am not able to receive group messages AT ALL. I am not able to EDIT the APN information either. There is no “+” at the top right of the screen. So I cannot test whether that would fix anything. I also saw somewhere MMS settings under the SIM Card options? No such options exist on my phone. Unfortunately, this will be what forces me to return the phone, if I am unable to get it fixed.

Mudita Kompakt supports MMS messages, but currently does not support RCS.
Please check to make sure you have enabled your MMS messages. There are two places to enable:
Network settings & SIM Card settings
Additionally, please check if your APN settings are correct for your network.
Hey, Urszula. Thank you. I’m on Verizon. I saw those previously in the thread, but my Kompakt does not display those options when I go into the settings.
- The sim card settings only lets me see the sim card. I cannot click on anything to bring up additional options.
- The network options also do not display anything about MMS messages, even when I click into the “advanced” menu.
- I can see the APN settings, but it will not let me edit them (though the numbers appear to be correct).
