Just a quick question re the notes app. Is it possible to import text or existing notes from elsewhere via the Mudita centre as notes on the notes app? I assume not and it’s certainly not a deal breaker but it would be useful, especially at the start when making the transition from my smart phone.
I am not sure but I hope they implement this down the road!
I would doubt it since reviewers have shown there’s a hard and short limit to how long notes can be.
Yeah, I’ve noticed that although I’m assuming (hoping) that’s due to it being prerelease software
@aled I’ve reached out to the team about this. I know Mudita Center has a device transfer option, but I’m not sure if it only works for PURE. I will check & get back to you.
@urszula was the short note limit because people were using demo models?
Any info on note size limit?
Any updates on this would be great
@jawn According to our team, it’s approximately 140 word pages (60000 words).
Is that 60000 words per note, or is that total capacity across all notes? Thanks!
@kirkmahoneyphd It’s PER NOTE. So feel free to write a book
It is interesting to have updated information, because in one of the reviews there was a limit of two or three lines per note.
@roberto If you’re referring to the first look video by fieldtested, it turns out that he was actually typing into the title part of the note, not realising you had to tap below it to type into the body
@roberto I think that the space between the HEADER & BODY is not easily defined, so it could be confusing. There is a noticeable difference in FORMATING, but yeah, it could cause confusion. We did point this out to our team.
I would like to but if there is no way to export the notes you would have to give your phone to people for them to read the book.
This does seem like a bit of an oversight if the goal is to reduce phone/screen time. Likely this will result in transcribing info from one screen to another where a simple drag/drop or copy/paste would allow for fast data migration. Ability to open notes in mudita center or to acces in an easily openable file format would be a plus.
