Notifications vibrating for sms/Signal even if all vibration option are turned off

I’m sorry that you found my reply confusing, that was not my intention. Welcome to the Mudita Forum! We’re glad that you’re here. I see that you’re new here & just joined 2 days ago, so it’s completely understandable that you didn’t get a chance to read through all of the threads that we’ve had on this topic since we launched Mudita Kompakt last year. No worries
Let me see if I can clarify this so that we are all on the same page:

  • YES, you’re right. currently, there is no option to MUTE sms messages in the NATIVE app. The only reason I mention the Native SMS app is that some 3rd party apps have their own separate settings & allow app notifications. I believe InkOS also allows you to customize this, but @gezimos could confirm that since he is the developer of that launcher. Additionally, the Adb option is available for advanced users.
Please note: when it comes to 3td party apps, some of them might not work the way that they do on a traditional smartphone (we talk about that in THIS POST)

  • Our team is aware of this limitation. They acknowledged the need for this feature and have added this to the Mudita Kompakt Roadmap. You can see that "Custom ringtones and notification sounds are in the pipeline.

  • We have an update coming out shortly, which does not include this feature, however, the roadmap will be updated with more current info when it comes to features, so our users can have a more clear timeline when to expect this option to be available.

Hopefully these points clear things up for you. If you have more questions or if I can help with anything else, please do not hesitate to ask.

Completely new user here.
Got this solely to separate my extreme hectic work phone from my private life.
I can say its on me not checking that the Mudita cant turn of vibrations (which I thought was one of the biggest things a focus phone should have). I have tried turning them all off, going into developer mode and now lastly going the ADB route. It still vibrates on sms alarms etc.

To say it lightly I am not happy and turned it off and threw it in a drawer.

EDIT:

So I did a rethink and did all these adbs since the suggestion above isnt covering the whole spectra.
This killed the vibrations completely:

./adb shell settings put system haptic_feedback_enabled 0
./adb shell settings put system haptic_feedback_intensity 0
./adb shell settings put system notification_vibration_intensity 0
./adb shell settings put system ring_vibration_intensity 0

I can understand that this is frustrating, but our team is working on this & this setting will be available in a future update.
