Thank you for testing it.
Our team suggested this:
For advanced users you can disable all haptic feedback using adb command
adb shell settings put system haptic_feedback_enabled 0But that will completely disable vibrations on your device, no matter the mode or other settings. You cannot disable per app because it requires root access
you cant turn off vibrate for the alarm either.
Defeats the purpose of waking to a nice gradual and calm alarm tone, get woken by buzzing instead
If the only notifications are from Signal/Molly, thereās an even simpler workaround:
inside Signal, create a notification profile with no notifications at all and enable it permanently ![]()
@ploum Yes Iāve used that before. But I already have a shortcut of the notification log in my app so I can turn them on/off quickly
Iāve just got my Kompakt and I have this problem too⦠No side loaded apps. All haptic feedback is turned off in all settings but my SMS are vibrating.
@DP3 Have you tried this:
Thanks Urszula. I did see this but I have no idea how to do it! How do I do this? Thank you!
@DP3 Are you familiar with Android Debugging Bridge?
No - that sounds too complicated. Donāt worry - I can cope with it for now. Hopefully addressed in a software update!
This problem still isnāt fixed unfortunately. When I mute the phone the incoming SMS still vibrates⦠and we still have not an option for thatā¦
Are you referring to third-party notifications?
No, actually i refer to the pre-insatelled normal SMS App⦠but i solved the problem with adb⦠because there was no other way. It would have been great if we could turn off vibrations on the phone, without using adb. But now itās ok for me, with adb. But I guess not everyone would understand how to do it with adbā¦
shhhh donāt say you solved it, we need to keep being annoying so that these basic features are finally implemented
Also with adb you still canāt easily switch back and forth when being outside
Our team is aware of this. I will follow up & check when they plan on implementing this.
