Voicemail and VOLTE seem to be a thing for me now. Voicemail quick dial is great and so is voicemail notifications.
Fingerprint reader spam seems to be better as well. I would always get my phone out and the fingerprint would be locked out.
One issue so far is that there is a notification stuck on my phone app. I don’t want to clear my call history to fix it.
Another issue that I have reported in the past is that if you open a SMS message conversation and then hit triple dot the menu will come up and then disappear again. It’s a race condition with the loading of the conversation.
I can’t find the switch to turn off all vibrations. On the contrary, now the phone even vibrates shortly before the home screen appears, like it usually does when there is a new SMS, but I got no new messages and yet the phone vibrates. I tried several times and it always does when I switch the Kompakt on.
LOL. I don’t think even Apple could pull that off. I received my phone in July 2026. It was manufactured February 2025 (see Settings > Battery > Battery Info). I think an appropriate step would be configuring the updater to go from v1.1 (or whatever they ship with) to v1.6 in a single go, perhaps including a automatic prompt to upgrade when the phone first connects to the network.
Now the question is WHY it suddenly vibrates everytime I turn the phone on. It also vibrates when I connect it to my PC. I am seriously annoyed by ANY vibration. And since I don’t use any of the features listed in this update, I only got an additional annoying vibration. But the spam blocker I was hoping for still hasn’t been implemented.
After updating to version 1.6, a badge icon appeared on my phone, which I assume is for missed calls. It currently shows “9+”, but I can’t seem to find any way to clear it. The badge wasn’t there before the update, and it doesn’t disappear even after I scroll through my entire call history. Has anyone else experienced this since updating to 1.6, or found a way to clear the badge?
Actually, Urszula said 19 days ago that Kompakts ordered after the release of MuditaOS K 1.6.0 would come with 1.5.0 or 1.6.0 already installed, so Mudita can pull that off.
My question above was my attempt to get an answer on whether 1.6 – instead of 1.5 – would be in Kompakts ordered today.
Wow, I am quite surprised by that! I guess the phone production is small enough that they can update them all manually. I don’t know if I’m impressed or horrified by the labor involved.
Just to say that I’ve managed to make “Yet Another Call Blocker” works flawlessly on my Kompakt and it has changed my life. 100 of calls silently blocked in the last three months.
It works with “range” so I can block every number which start with “1234*”. I don’t know if it also works with SMS because, fortunately, I don’t receive SMS spam.
Looks like I am having issues where my mobile network drops and won’t come back until I restart the device which wasn’t an issue previous on 1.5. Having issues using the device.
