Mudita Kompakt and Macos

For over a week I have the device, and I am happy with the quality. However I struggle in one important aspect. I was hoping to use this device as my mp3 player. However there is currently no functioning way for me to get music on the device. Has anybody managed to link the Mudita to a Macbook (I have M3 Pro, using Sequoia 15.4.1) and load music onto an extra SSD. Android file transfer is no longer supported it seems. The OpenMTP app does connect but the moment I try to transfer a file nothing …
