I’m not sure tbh, I think the maintainer has to manually update the links. It’s not automated.

Discord looks great! I was expecting a simple color inversion, changing the icon to an outline was really going above and beyond, I love it

No issue for popular apps as they have SVG icons which I can adjust quickly and bundle them in the app.
For a lot of less known apps however it’s an issue, especially open-soruce apps made by non-designers, they almost never include SVG icons, just a low res png.

Love the look of this coming from inkos! Would it be possible to have this distributed on Fdroid like inkos is? It makes installation so much easier for me and making sure I’m keeping my apps updated, instead of having to remember to keep an eye on a github page. I imagine it also helps increase app visibility - inkos is almost at 9k downloads on fdroid.

You can make a request to F-droid, they have a link “request for packaging” or to IzzyOnDroid repo. The app has the fastlane already there, I don’t know if it would be accepted since it’s device specific only.
Other than that I recommend Obtanium, basically it’s like F-droid but connects directly to github repos, and you can do the updating from that. You simply add gezimos/katapult as the URL and it will check for new releases for you and allow downloading/updating right there.
I usually post the updates here on the forum and mudita reddit, since it’s made for the Kompakt only I’m not looking for it to gain more visibility. With more visibility come requests to support other devices, bug reports in other devices that I don’t have to test, and a lot of requests for features which I can’t handle.
Yeah inkOS has gotten quite popular with other e-ink phones, dpad phones. Now you can also find it in PlayStore/Aurora Store.

Somebody made a video showing of some of the Katapult options, it’s in Spanish but you can use subtitles or listen to the AI audio translation if that doesn’t bother you.
I wanted to make a video myself, but don’t have the time.

whould it be possible to make the font size on the main screen about 10% bigger? Like on the original Mudita launcher? The time font is rather ok, but the date font is definitely too small.

- On purpose I made them smaller, to me they felt giant. I’m not gonna promise to change it because I’m gonna do some tests to see how it affects the position (some people have created wallpapers with cut-outs for the text), but i’ll do my best maybe to have an option.
2.that is only possible if you disable the Statusbar (Hide status bar in Katapult settings), that will hide the whole bar on top, however u can always access it by swiping down from the header. The reason is that Mudita forces the clock on all apps minus their default launcher.

…and for some reason, the qr scanner icon did not want to upload onto this forum, but it was just this one: QR Code Icon SVG Vector & PNG Free Download | UXWing , made about 15-20% smaller.
Some of the icons look truly shitty on the computer (I’m looking at you, bandcamp…), but only because they had to be adjusted like that to look good on the kompakt. Enjoy!

Correct me if I am wrong but I am missing a notification tray in your launcher.
I see notification badget on the apps, and also on the homescreen, but I can’t find a place where I can view them all, or clear them all or act on them. What am I missing?

There’s no notification Tray on this Katapult. Only badges.
