Issue with SMS messaging

Do you have any blocked numbers? Other users are reporting a weird interaction between blocked numbers and messages not appearing in the SMS app:

Group messaging on Kompakt

I have found a solution that works for me regarding group messages not showing up and having a permanent notification number on the sms app. You need to block a number, then go into Settings → blocked numbers and remove it. Literally any phone number will work, you could probably just block and unblock 9999 or something. After doing this my group messages show back up. Not sure why this works but I was trying literally everything and found that this worked.

New messaging bug on Kompakt - blocked number

So, I just got my first spam text on the Kompakt, which is something that I had prevented on my previous phone. Still, whatever, I just decided to block the number. But… when I blocked the number, it removed all group message threads from the SMS app. I figured out how to unblock the number, then the group messages re-appeared.
