I notice from the clip in that Reddit thread that the apps align on the left and then on the right. I would find that jarring. Is there a way to center the apps? Also, is it possible to enlarge the text?

Also, unless I missed it, the OP doesn’t mention if this requires you to root your MK. Does anyone know this for sure?

Good questions, I don’t know. I looked up mLauncher on fDroid and doesn’t look like its been updated in 6 years. If you’re going to do it I would probably suggest something like olauncher (played with it on my Boox Palma and it’s really nice). Same concept and can definitely be centered, etc.

I have no idea if using ADB as the OP does is classed as rooting the device. Someone with more technical knowledge would have to chime in on that.

I do not work for Mudita so they can correct me if I’m wrong - but I have a lot of experience with rooted Android devices. Side-loading apps via adb does not root the device. Rooting the device gives you superuser access over the entirety of the Android OS and is a more complex process than side-loading .
