Last week I received my Mudita Kompakt in the mail and I really like the design and build quality, feels and looks good! Also very much love the ability to sideload!
After the few day that I have been using the device I am having a bluetooth bug or something. If I connect a bluetooth device (e.g. airpods, receiver) and than press on ‘disconnect’ in the bluetooth settings the device completely vanishes from my Mudita. So I can’t forget and reconnect. When I search for bluetooth devices the ‘disconnected’ ones also don’t show up, I assume because the devices are still in the memory of my Mudita.
It’s the same for me, except they disconnected on their own after some time. Now they don’t connect at all, and because I can’t see them in my Mudita settings, I can’t forget and reconnect them. I would love to get this fixed!
Same for me here. Bluetooth is an absolute mess right now. My headphones sometimes connect but I can’t manually force to connect to them and also can’t repair them since I can’t unpair them.
Mine dissapeared aswell but once i have them on and turn on the bluetooth it connects automatically, i dont have any more things that i could connect on bluetooth to check if they would interfere with automatic connection later …
Same here. My Bluetooth headphones disappeared yesterday suddenly. I couldn’t even pair them again, because Kompakt didn’t see them. I’ve restarted the phone and the headphones ware back.
Yes, same thing happening with me on Mudita OS 1.11.
TLDR: They pair fine, they play fine. But the list of paired devices is empty, so it’s not possible to re-connect to them.
It’s hard to see how this slipped through the net when it’s a primary use case. An annoying problem going into the weekend.
I’ve still got this issue after updating to 1.1.1, really hope this gets fixed soon, I connected my headphones once and they never show up on the list of connected devices now and they refuse to reconnect because I can’t prompt it again.
For a workaround until it’s patched, you can install the Unpair All app (search apkpure unpairall) by sideloading with adb. So when you need to reconnect a bluetooth device, you can first unpair all your devices, and the internal list of bluetooth devices will start from a clean slate (thus letting you re-pair)!
Same issue for me as well. I was able to pair my headset yesterday, but it disconnected a while after and now I am unable to pair it again. I am sure it will make it to the top of the list of bugs to correct.
Same here. There is no way to delete registered devices in order to reconnect them. A fix is urgently needed. Calling with the Mudita while driving becomes difficult and even dangerous.
Just to add that I’m having the same problem as well and have not found a practical solution with default software. For now, I’ve not been able to use bluetooth headphones which is frustrating.
Glad to see I’m not the only one and the team is working on it.
My Jabra headset sometimes doesn’t connect automatically. On any other phone I can select it from the ‘recently connected’ or ‘paired’ devices. There is no such list on the Kompakt. This is also a security issue, because you do want to be able to manually unpair a device when needed. Or just for practical reasons. Unbelievable that a standard functionality was omitted by the team
