We are working on getting that fixed.
@urszula, can you be more specific when the update is rolling out? Next month can be in one week, can be in four weeks time… ![]()
@astratev We have an update scheduled for July, however, I don’t have a specific date yet. I can ask out team.
Add ability to clear call history.
I have had my Mudita for a little over a month now and it has been a breath of fresh air! I few road blocks I’ve hit that I’d love to see fixed / added:
- Bluetooth: A list of previously connected devices. I’ve connected my beats pro plenty of times to my kompact previously, but now I cannot seem to even get them to show up on my kompact even when my headphones are in discover mode. This is a huge road block for me. I don’t believe the issue is on my headphones end as it has absolutely no trouble connecting to any other device, but if my phone just had a list of previously connected devices and was about to forget my beats to then reconnect them, I’m sure minimally that would do the trick.
- App task manager / long-hold force stop: I am someone who sideloaded the Aurora Store since I use Spotify and rely on other apps like Whatsapp daily. This of course came with a drop in battery life. A task manager, similar to android, OR even a long-hold to force stop / close an app when in app drawer would be super helpful.
- Home page quick apps: I’d like the ability to change the SMS / Phone app on the home screen to other apps. Personally, having my main messenger app instead of SMS would be helpful.
- Lock Screen: As others mentioned, being able to change the lock screen would be a great touch/ or the ability to have an “always on display” with clock / music widget. OR ALTERNATIVELY
- Double tap to wake to see time like single press action of the lock button already does.
- Decrease sensitivity for fingerprint scanner
- Far-reach want – RCS support (which, I believe relies heavily on Google Services but a girl can wish!)

I was disappointed there is no 2 player chess! Otherwise the phone is great, feels better made than my Pure. Only bit here is the power disconnect button stays firm when “Connected” but always had a slight wiggle in “Offline+”. Also, I had it fly out of my shirt pocket and get tangled in my poncho before hitting the ground… I already ruined my screen protector
@sameoldken This is on our team’s radar.
I would also love to see a “do not disturb” mode with a whitelist of favorite contacts that can pass through.
I am sometimes on-call for work as a software engineer, and without this feature, I need to get a separate work phone. With this feature, I can just have one phone and whitelist the pager system’s phone number so that I get woken up during the night if necessary.
I’d also like to whitelist my family so they can call in an emergency, which I assume is a common use-case for everyone.
This has been passed on to our team.
As for the whitelist- in the meantime, you can use these features
Personally, I’m lobbing for an added feature that ‘allows calls from FAVORITES ONLY’
I’ve got the exact same issue with bluetooth as you! My bluetooth headphones (Soundcore Liberty pro 3) no longer show on my device either. They connect to every other device perfectly fine. I love the device so much, but this had been a major handicap.
That would be amazing feature!!!
Thanks for the tip @urszula ! While this is helpful, I don’t want to always block unrecognized calls (so that the occasional things like the doctor’s office, government agencies, etc pass through). So I’d need to flip this on every night and off every morning.
The other issue is that texts will still ping or vibrate, and I have contacts in other time zones who will end up waking me up. Is there a way to only notify for phone calls, but not texts?
I don’t think so from my searching, but wanted to check if there’s a workaround. I’d be happy to leave this on permanently as I think it goes well with the minimalist ethos (texts can wait, calls may be important).
I love the look of this update. It has a lot of features that I’ve been waiting for. And I like many of other peoples suggestions for future updates as well. The only thing I’m not really seeing mentioned, I might be the only one who wants this, is the volume control. I have found that when using a speaker or earbuds the volume jumps too much with each increase. I can’t find the right level, especially when under 50% volume. It’s either too quiet or if I increase it one notch then it’s too loud. I don’t know if the amount music volume increases and decrease can be split up just a bit into smaller portions. Aside from that the phone is amazing as is what y’all have coming down the pipeline.
After reading a lot of posts on here, I do get worried that the suggestions people are making will just move the Kompakt more towards being a smartphone.
Personally I want it to remain simple as possible and only desire usability and performance improvements to the bundled applications and OS.
I don’t want a thousand different setting and customisation combinations to drive me insane. I bought this phone so that I wouldn’t, and couldn’t fiddle with it all the time.
Fear not! We’re working tirelessly to maintain that balance. While we welcome all feedback, you can rest assured that our commitment to simplicity remains unscathed.
We will be refining the hell out of it though ![]()
I get where you’re coming from, but our team does have a vision for Mudita Kompakt. I trust that they will make the right calls when it comes to adding features & improving the phone.
I think the Kompakt has a different niche and different design objectives than the “dumbest” of dumbphones, though. It’s meant to be a little more fully-featured and customizable.
If you want something as simple as possible (and that’s perfectly reasonable), there are a lot of options already on the market for that, such as the Lightphone II or any number of flip phones.
Any finetuning could be tossed into “Advanced Settings” section of each setting sub-menu. This way anyone that doesn’t want to overthink those things, can simply ignore it.
Overthinkers ignoring things; there’s something new ![]()
I am an overthinker and I would not ignore this, of course.
But it’d just be one-shot cup of coffee long process, no?
