yes, please confirm this. I showed my phone to my uncle and he was really amazed by it. But then I unintentionally called him and he told me: I was on the verge of buying it, but this is really bad. And it is, I now turn off the phone whenever I carry it in my pocket, but this is of course not how a phone should work. I want to be reachable. But it can be quite embarrassing. And it is really negative marketing for the phone: people hear first about it when I apologize for the unintentional calls. Not a good first impression. So please make this a priority for the July update.

Coming from the LP2 as well and oh yeah it is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade to the LP2 in every way especially when you add gboard with speech to text

I’m really happy to see that sideloading will be made easier. Can you please ensure that we can not only add an APK file through Mudita centre but also remove sideloaded apps too?

Love all these changes, I can remove here maps most likely because I can use the navigation, but to be honest herewego gives you a directory tool as well as better directions, in terms of giving me the best route due to traffic, but we shall see, I can always remove here maps and use the mudita maps and reinstall yelp.
Very nice changes coming , thanks again Mudita, BUT we were all hoping for the update of removing the Mudita logog from the lock screen 
One thing that I really hope gets changed soon is separating text and phone notifications because now if my kids and wife are out and I am in best ready to go to bed, I want to have the phone only notifying me not every text I am getting. Please change this ASAP, it is a very annoying thing and completely unnecessary

You can sideload herewe go maps and it gives you phone numbers, addresses etc, PERFECT replacement for the LP2 directory , and/or yelp, I used Yelp over the weekend when I needed it and it was awesome. We seem to have very similar use cases and i just LOVE my kompakt, best phone I have ever owned. Over my entire weekend I had under 30 mins online, rest of the time I was out and about being in the moment. This phone is a GAME CHANGER in the minimalist phone space

For me the biggest issue now is the sensitivity of the fingerprint reader. I’d love to have option to enable it only if I’m pressing it. I’m having a big problem putting my phone in a pocket not do put it unlocked. It’s not easy and it’s annoying.

I find the sideloaded “HERE WeGo” app, which does not require Google Services, quite useful for looking up a business.

Please make it where we can change the lock screen photo. It would be great if you could pick just the lotus, a blank white or blank black. Even better if you could choose your own photo.

will the bluetooth be fixed with this update? I can connect to another device once but after that it’s not possible anymore. I saw topic about in the forum as well

May I ask, what does “premium SMS” mean in this bullet-point?
For example, does this mean that the design of the “SMS” app will have a more premium look & feel? Or, does this mean that there is an SMS concept called “premium SMS” that Mudita will be implementing?

Premium SMS is a feature to pay using SMS. It charges you credits if you’re pre-paid or it add to your monthly bill based on what you used it for. Some examples are: Paying for parking, Donations to organizations, voting for Eurovision etc.
Basically you send a specific message to a specific SMS dedicated number (usually very short). After you send a dialog pops up to ask you to confirm by entering 1 or 0 to cancel.
It’s called premium because it costs much more than just sending a text to a number in the same carrier.
So I assume they have updated the UI for this.

Just want to share I’m excited about the features and fixes coming, and grateful for the transparency. I’m pretty happy with Kompakt as is. It’s hard to please everyone! Let’s all keep our expectations measured, this is a small company and this is their first Android device.

Organic maps is based on OSM data, it’s open data and relies on user input. You should add the opening hours and phone numbers that are missing, that’s what I do. It’s only as accurate as people are willing to contribute
