I liked the lotus flower. I don’t understand why no one liked the name on it. I mean it is the mudita kompakt so I don’t see the problem. I just don’t like the padlock. Because everyone knows where the button is. So I’d like that removed

I didn’t mind the logo. Because it is that kind of phone but I don’t like the padlock. Everyone knows where the button is. I hope we get a choice of what to put on the lockscreen

How far down the pipeline will we be able to set the ringer and notification volumes separately, use our own ringtones, and set notifications to silent or vibrate?
Also, what is the possibility of getting a unit conversion setting in the calculator? And a timer and stopwatch function?

Just updated, and the lotus / Mudita on the lock screen is greatly missed. The device had a certain elegance before, and now it has been sterilized.
Taking the beauty out of something is not progressive or high-tech, but it does seem to happen a lot, and now people seem to be embracing the sterilization.
Please return the lock screen to its original state in the next update, plus or minus the lock logo (as you will). Having the Mudita logo will just be the price you pay for having a great dumb phone.

SMS and all the other core functionality works fine for me here (Sydney/AU/Optus network) since upgrading.

Thank you very much for this product, and the new update. I am not a programmer or techical guy, i use your phone because i v been looking for a minimal alternative for a smartphone.
Couple of quesitons:
- I sideloaded appes thorugh the new function. I notices that when i deleted the APK on the software on the computer, the app is still on my phone. So this does not de-install the app?
- I would like to have a button that Force Closes all the running apps alltogether. Now I have to go into the settings and close 1 app at a time. That way it would save battery life right?
- In the software on the computer, i can see the picture files, but it does not show a preview of the photo i took. I would like to be able to see them there so i can select wich ones i want to delete. Now i need to go into the folder. Wich also works.
- With the music i would like to have an option to selct that it automatically stops playinf after for example 30 minutes, or at th eend af a audio file. No it goes automatically on to th enext one. I don’t like to put an music app on it, but i really love uploading audio books and podcasts, etc. And than it would be great to be able to have this function.
- When i swipe down it shows the startscreen (not sure thats the right name) where you can quickly turn of bleutooth, wifi, etc. Is it an option to also have a icon available for the mobile data/internet? right now i also have to go in to the settings to turn it off. I want it off at night for example, but stlil be available through calls. If i turn on planemode it all turns down.

See the cars typically have just the symbol on their front without the name written in full, this could be a sweet spot perhaps.

Thanks for posting this. I didn’t know that dodge and reinstated them thro’ settings - appearance. I’ll take them out again once the shortcut is installed in my bio memory;-)

Technical numpty here, finally plucked up the courage to download and instal the update. Amazed I navigated my way thro’ it and so far no problems. Next adventure - sideload WhatsApp!

Hey everyone, just wanted to check if anyone else has noticed a bug with the battery life estimate.
Since I updated, the system doesn’t seem to be working right. I changed the MK to 80%, and it showed 17 hours at 79%. But the battery still lasts around 3 days down to 24%, so I’m confused why the estimate is so far off now.

This was on my Kompakt with 1.1.1 as well right out of the box, but after a few days the battery controller seems to deliver the correct estimate so it should display several days of battery life left.

@urszula Good morning! 
I have two small suggestions out of my daily usage or to more precises which came to mind while I was commuting this very morning 
- Music Player: Show a ‘Play’ icon in the ‘All songs’ list next to the song which is currently playing.
- Music Player: Let song titles which are too long for the display width auto scroll because right now it is sometimes hard to tell which song is playing since it is abbreviated

Quick question: What’s up with the animation of the battery symbol in the status bar upon unlocking the phone? The battery symbol is fading in. Why?

I also really miss the logo! IMO it looks strange now. Can’t get used to it.
Otherwise excellent update.
If Mudita also improves the music player (i.e. possibility to sort by albums) and calendar (possibility to add notifications hours or days in advance), and adds group messaging, all of my needs will be met, I think.

I’d upkeep the suggestion to indicate (vibration, screen flash, sound options?) that a screenshot was taken.
Also, some indication on camera screen when it gets tapped and attempts to focus.

@denguefeber I’m not sure I understand what you’re referring to. Can you please share an image? I can’t picture what’s happening in your case.
I cannot share a picture or clip at the moment, but I’ll try to describe it. I have “Swipe up” as my unlock security. When I wake my phone (by briefly pressing the power button and swiping up to unlock), the symbols in the status bar at the top of the screen appear instantly, but not the battery symbol. The battery symbol seems to be animated and fades in, going from not visible to fully visible in about half a second to a second.

@urszula, does this release contain voicemail notifications? I can’t see it in the changelog, unless I’m misreading something.
