@ultramaze, your custom white case for the MK intrigues me. Particularly in light of the issue mentioned on the thread below:

Thanks for confirming the issue, @jdot. It certainly shouldn’t be happening. I have a new white case on the way. I’ll expose it to the same conditions (as far as I’m able to replicate them) and see if makes any difference. I presume you don’t have one to test it to see if helps. As mentioned, if the white case helps, I’ll keep the phone. If not, I’m afraid it’s the death knell.

A number of people in Europe have confirmed the same issue and I was wondering if you had experienced anything similar prior to applying your new case, or for that matter, afterwards.

As soon as my white case arrives, I’m aiming to try it to see if it still has this issue. Although it’ll be white, it’ll also be a silicone case, so I’d be surprised if it really helps with thermals. But this thread on 3D printed cases opens up a new avenue. Trouble is I don’t know the first thing about 3D printing. How does one go about getting a 3D case made?

Is there anybody out there prepared to accept orders for a custom case?
