Good morning, I received my kompakt recently and I’m happy to say that it past my initial expectations of the phone…
I had also added a screen protector and a black phone case, very good quality…
My question is, is there any chance that I can have the 3d printing phone case file? I’d like to experiment with printing a case in different materials…
I’d only use it my personal use.
I’d really appreciate it if this request is granted.

@prokopis Are you asking for the dimension specs of the case, so you can 3D print your own case? Am I understanding correctly?

Yes Urszula that would be amazing.
LightPhone company gave the CAD (3d model) to users who requested so people can make accessories for LP3.
It would be nice if we get cad of Mudita Kompakt so we can make our own accessories.

I modeled my Kompakt and used it to make a case. You can find the step files on Printables. Its not perfect, but it worked for me.

I printed it with PLA+. I tried it in TPU 95A, but I couldn’t get a good surface finish. You might have more luck.

Good morning, I printed my on case.I printed with ABS, it came out great. I then coated with a marble look vanish, check it out…

@prokopis That’s super cool! How does the texture feel?
It’s very grippy, and it doesn’t leave any finger marks…
The only remark I have with the original Mudita case is it’s rubbery feeling is a lint and fingerprint magnet, otherwise it’s also grippy and durable.
I hope you’ll bring out other phone cases made from different materials…
I’m very pleased with the phone as a whole… It’s taken me back before the time of Smartphones…

I know this thread is old but I got tired of the slick feel of my MK case and printed out one of these using PLA. The first print was just slightly too tight of a fit so I had to scale it up by 1% but now it fits and the 3D printed case is much more comfortable to hold due to having some texture.

@urszula I guess it’s still a silent no from Mudita on 3d files - shame - all that’s needed is outside of the phone as .sla or .obj and it will only add extra value to your product.
We could add a lanyard hole, and other cool stuff: camera cover, a stand, even cat ears…
