Hello, I’ve had my Kompakt for a couple of months now and have been pleasantly surprised how well it’s worked for me. While I needed to sideload WhatsApp to carry on life (nobody in the UK sends SMS anymore) it has helped me to fulfil my goal of avoiding mindless browsing and over researching every decision in my day to day.
Now, on holiday, I have my first real problem. My data roaming is turned on and the same SIM card (UK giffgaff/o2) automatically joins the 4g and 5g local Italian networks when inserted into an iPhone, but the Kompakt is stubbornly refusing to connect. Am I missing something?
I’ve tried manually selecting networks but that just locks up. I would upload a photo of my network settings but “new users can’t upload images”.
Any help appreciated.
