@janlo
ah perfect, it works. Thanks for your help!!
I’m glad you made it.
I’d still love to find a better text-based launcher that supports notifications, though. I’ve tried like a dozen of them and none are just quite right for me. I’m still going to use multilauncher for now because I like it better than the stock launcher.
@bone_naga , does mlauncher show an asterisks to indicate a notification?
No it does not. It also appears to be a little buggy if you sideload apps. When I first started using it, I had an icon bar at the bottom with the basics (phone, camera, SMS, etc) and then my list of pinned apps above it. As soon as I sideloaded a new SMS app, that icon bar disappeared.
Bummer. Thank you for that info. Guess I will stick with Niagara for now.
I’ve thought about Niagara but setting it up seems like a pain and I’m not a fan of it sending data back, even if it’s just usage stats.
It’s not my favorite either, but it does allow clearing notifications from the sms app, which neat launcher does not. It’s what I’m currently using until I get the ability to move apps to the homescreen on the stock launcher. Or sms notifications clear when I open the conversation in neat launcher.
