What PPI is the Mudita Kompact e-Ink Screen?

Hi all,
All I can find on the product info pages regarding screen info is this:
4.3” E Ink®, 800x480 resolution

What I’d like to know is how that translates to PPI. What is the PPI of the e-ink display being used please?

Thanks.

You can calculate the PPI by following the link within this post:

Simple arithmetic:

  • Divide the height in pixels by the height of the active area in millimeters, and you get 8.547008547 pixels per millimeter.
  • Divide the width in pixels by the width of the active area in millimeters, and you get 8.547008547 pixels per millimeter.

There are 25.4 millimeters in an inch.

Therefore, the display has (8.547008547 pixels per millimeter) x (25.4 millimeters per inch) = 217 pixels per inch (217 PPI).

@disgruntlediphoneuse I’ve asked our team to confirm this, just to make sure.

@disgruntlediphoneuse 217 is correct  The calculator (or @kirkmahoneyphd in this case) is correct
