Hello. The weather widget on my Kompakt doesn’t automatically update. Once I tap on it and I open the weather app, the widget updates to show what the weather app does. Sometimes the widget even says ‘weather data unavailable’.
I have already read similar topics about this, but they didn’t reveal a fix. I have location sharing enabled for the weather app.
It’s not a big deal, just a bit annoying. Thanks.

Yea it’s been like that ever since the update. Lotta people called it out so I assumed it was just a bug for everyone
Ok, defeats the point of the widget though. It has just become an app icon.
Best solution would be to make the widget work for those who want it, and offer an option to disable it for those who don’t.

@spencersabo & @elbertfink I just got info from our team that it is INDEED a bug & it will be fixed in the next update.
