I guess it’s bit random - I downloaded my update yesterday, but wasn’t checking for it before.
I think it improved unlocking the phone with fingerprint, and other than that - ability to chose Launcher from App settings and horizontal e-reader are my favorite additions.
Wish I wasn’t the only one here who likes to write SMS in landscape mode (that would be nice to have as well).
Last thing I wait for in the future are custom ringtones - and at least for me - my Kompakt will be “Komplit”

We all know that e ink is wonderful for the eyes, but it works within certain limits. When a book or doc contains more than just plain text, the device has to strike a balance. Be careful what you wish for. I installed HeliBoard today, just to see if it works well, but then I couldn’t switch back to the stock keyboard. Why the hell is there no default keyboard option in the new default apps shortcut ? Why is there no default music player, media player, gps faker or email client in the new default apps section ?? What good is that shortcut if so many options are missing ? I can’t even find them in the developer options anymore.

@urszula This is not acceptable. Please inform the team immediately to bring ALL the default options back! Why did the team remove them ??? There should be an immediate fix for this BEFORE Christmas! And also get this unknown numbers block fixed, it does not work! I’ve been getting spam for months now, but nobody seems to care. These are basic functions! They work on any phone except on the Kompakt.

legitimately why don’t we have full android settings with just a few exceptions. I get why there isnt an app store, a different launcher, etc, but we can’t get full settings?
