I just got a Mudita after dropping my iPhone down a storm drain (by mistake!) so I don’t have an old phone to use to activate the SIM card first. In #2 of your post, you note that you added a new line to your Verizon account, but then in #3 you note that the rep placed the new SIM into a demo phone. Did you end up having to pay for the new line after all? Lastly, how has your service been over the last 6 months? I have been with Verizon since I moved to the US in 2009 & am hoping I can activate my new Kompakt without having to switch to Tmobile.
