@stevenjc123 Thank you for reaching out. The challenges with Verizon & AT&T are not something that can easily be resolved.
We’ve discussed this on the FORUM many times. The US wireless marketplace is tightly controlled by carriers who have a habit of picking winners and losers, while setting prices and insisting that there shouldn’t be any oversight. Basically there’s a reason why the phones you typically see in Verizon or AT&T stores are the ones you see. The U.S. wireless market is heavily influenced by those carriers themselves. They want you to BUY the phone they offer at their price & NOT go outside of the ecosystem and choose a device on your own. That’s why they insist that each device be specially certified for their network & the big tech companies can afford to play along, but unfortunately, we can’t.
So, with activating on Verizon (or AT&T), we recommend using another device- one that’s authorized by them, initially (just for the activation process & then moving the SIM card over to Mudita Kompakt) or manually entering the APN settings if needed.
