Use of NFC for payment

Hello !

First time Mudita Kompakt user here… I’ve been exploring the different capabilities of the device and have sideloaded a few apps. At the instruction of a user on here I was able to download and install Curve Pay through side-loading. Everything seems to work fine with the app – except I can’t pay with it. Under Settings > Manage Apps > Curve Pay > App Permissions > All permissions - Control Near Field Communication is listed. However, if I search for ‘Contactless payments’ under ‘Developer options’, it is not possible to click in and it comes up underneath: ’ To use, first install a payment app’.

Any idea what I’m doing wrong - and how to use the phone for contactless payments?

@benjamindahunter the NFC option is turned off by default, but I see you found how to turn it on. However, since I don’t have experience with this specific app, I’m not sure what’s happening. Maybe others in the community can help, in the meantime I will ask the team.
