Two different Global versions

One is optimized for North America, the other the rest of the world, was a decision I am assuming they made after the Pure did not work at all in North America. Optimized meaning it connects to networks in the respective regions

What I meant to say is that your approach of going with “North America” Kompakt makes sense and that the only time that I would say that “Global” Kompakt makes sense in Canada is when one is on Bell. Bell Mobility also supports more LTE bands on the “North America” Kompakt than does any other Canadian cellular provider, so, no, I would stick with Lucky Mobile, which is a Bell Mobility subsidiary.
