Apologies: I did not write my first sentence clearly. What I meant to say is that your approach of going with “North America” Kompakt makes sense and that the only time that I would say that “Global” Kompakt makes sense in Canada is when one is on Bell.
Bell Mobility also supports more LTE bands on the “North America” Kompakt than does any other Canadian cellular provider, so, no, I would stick with Lucky Mobile, which is a Bell Mobility subsidiary.
In other words, Bell or a subsidiary of Bell (such as Lucky) supports the highest number of LTE bands among all cellular providers in Canada, no matter whether you have the “Global” Kompakt OR the “North America” Kompakt.
