I kind do of wonder does it matter because if it does how would we know?

The problem is that these people get to vote. Even if they didn’t, how can they be anything but a burden on society. Hopefully their parents have enough money to see the kids through, but then what will their kids do??

One would hope that as time passes society would evolve in a positive way. The opposite seems to be happening on most fronts. Pretty easy to project where things are going under the current trajectory. Toss in AI, and you have a bunch of dysfunctional morons running around. Why would AI want to keep them? Entertainment? What accomplishments will these people be able to look back on in their golden years (if they get any golden years)? Unclear that they actually have any aspirations, or will develop any in their condition.

Sorry to wax philosophical….

Seems like “Idiocracy” (see the documentary), came about about 480 years earlier than predicted.

But let’s consider WHO created and taught AI:
