I know the Kompakt is designed to be minimalist and some people might not consider aesthetics important. But for me personally however, minimalism means being mindful of the items I interact with. They should be a joy to look at, hold and use. It’s highly subjective but while the phone ticks all the boxes for me I deeply dislike the empty lock screen with just the padlock. It’s the complete opposite of appealing. Like you, I’m really looking forward to more customisation options. I hope it’s not too far away!

@urszula, yes please. The only people I know who allow their phones to harass them with pings and whistles are my parents.

A lock screen function I would love to have is the option to turn on/off a little icon that would just sorta indicate that missed calls or texts like, exist?
Something I’ve been noticing after using this phone for a few months now is that, because it’s working as intended, I’ve lost the habit of constantly picking up my phone to check if i have notifications. But this means that there have been times where I’ve walked past the phone multiple times over the course of a few hours and not realized that someone had been trying to get in touch with me.
I don’t want anything too intrusive because I really like that I’ve been forgetting to check my phone lately, but if there was something subtle that changed on the lock screen that I might be able to notice out of the corner of my eye if there was information waiting for me – especially if this was an optional feature that i could toggle off in settings – i think it would be a nice happy medium

Making the RGB LED an optional signifier of missed calls or texts would be an absolute game changer for the Kompakt. As has been noted in multiple places on this forum, I check my phone even more often with the Kompakt than I did with an iPhone simply because I’ve missed important calls from my wife and not realized it.

This is something that I love about Sunbeam Wireless flip phones. I can see from across the room whether I missed calls (a blue LED) or messages (a separate, green LED). When I owned a Kompakt for a few months last year, I found that I checked it more often than I checked my F1 Orchid (since replaced with an F1 Pro Maple)! Plus, as you want for the Kompakt, this Sunbeam feature is optional.
