I’ve had the Kompakt now for close to a week and I’m loving it for the most part, but have noticed a few issues. I’m on Verizon, and while I do get calls and SMS texts just fine, I’m not able to get or send pictures (despite following all the MMS toggle steps), and I find that I will just randomly not get some group messages (again, despite having all the settings correct).
From what I’ve gathered, this seems to be a Verizon specific problem? The sending and receiving of pictures isn’t the biggest of deals to me, but the missing communications is. I’ve been looking to step away from Verizon for a while now anyways, but it is still a bit frustrating this phone says it’s Verizon compatible, while that isn’t technically the whole truth.
Does anyone have any ways around this issue? I will also say I’m using all stock apps, nothing sideloaded. Would InkOS solve this issue? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
