For me, no crash of SMS after update but same as before update, they are not all classified in a conversation.
For exaemple, the first I send stay appart and after, the others form a conversation.
I’m the only one?
No one here?
It’s weekend so you probably won’t get a reply from the staff.
I saw another user reported the same issue as you, can’t find the thread because the bug reporting is all over the place.
Yes, they are so much bugs…
Why did I bought this phone?
Can you please elaborate as to what is happening? I am not sure I understand your issue clearly.
Are you saying that SMS messages are not being properly grouped into a single conversation thread? But I’m not clear if you’re referring to GROUP MESSAGES- which are not yet available with Mudita Kompakt. They will be available in the next update.
When you say that the first message your contacts send appears separately (not part of the conversation), but subsequent messages are grouped correctly in the conversation thread, I’m not sure I can picture it.
Could it be because the contact numbers are formatted differently?
No group message.
I send a message to someone. This person answer.
The answer is not under what I send, not grouped.
If I answer the answer, those two are grouped and all the following.
If we are talking about the same thing- GROUP MESSAGES where you have more then 2 people in a chat (like your whole family), more than just YOU & another person- like 3, 4 or 5 people.
Those type of group messages will be available in the next update.
No. Just sms to one person.
I’ve experienced the same issue after updating to 1.2.0. A conversation with a single person got split up so that just one of my answers to this person got separated into another conversation so that this conversation got split up into two separate ones. Happened only with this one person / conversation though.
Always the same here, each time I start a new conversation with someone.
No answer here, no answer from support.
The cup is about to be full.
@shadock I talked to the team about this & this usually happens when the number in your phone is formatted differently than in the network. I actually experienced this while in Germany, earlier this week.
I sent a text message to someone & in my phone they are not saved as having a +48 prefix.
However, when I was in Germany, the +48 prefix was automatically added & when they replied, it came in as a separate message.
Maybe this is what’s happening in your case.
I know some networks add a ZERO before the local phone number.
Mmhhh, all my phone numbers are saved with the +xx, international code.
But I will check the next time, the number I used to send and the one of the response.
However, it’s the first time in my life that something like that happenes…
@shadock It was weird for me too. I traveled with the Kompakt to many places & in Germany it’s the only place that this happened.
And I’ve been to Athens, London, Istanbul, all over Italy- Rome, Venice, Verona & Padova, and all over Sweden.
Yes but here it’s where I live and never happened here.
Just did a test. Send an sms to my daughter. Answer is not linked, it’s a second conversation. In the infos, the numbers are the same.
@shadock I’m going back to the team with this. I am so confused as to what could be happening.
