Hello I experience a similar issue:
I had a 256 GB SD Card and a mobile SIM Card working.
I removed only the SIM Card while powered of.
Than I reinserted the SIM Card while powered of.
The SD Card was still working.

I connected the phone to a Windows 7 PC via USB.
Via File Explorer I copied files from the SD Card to the Windows 7 PC.
All went well, but right now the SD Card suddenly stopped working.

The SD Card still works when I put it into a SD Card reader on my Windows 10 PC.
I did a backup from the SD Card contents, by copying all files via Windows File Explorer.

It seems to me that the SD Card somehow got corrupted for the Android OS.
I had similar experiences with USB Sticks first working in Android, but then stopped working because I also used them on Windows OS.
Maybe that is something that can be fixed.

Thanks Mudita Team anyway for the great product.
I really like it.

Yup reformatting did the trick.

Now a fresh Android structure was created automatically by the Android OS.

All hints guide me to the following: The filesystem on the SD Card got corrupted.
Maybe we need a safe removal feature on the Kompakt when the Kompakt is connected via USB to another device.

What you can do as a general prevention of filesystem corruption is to shut down the PC and the phone before removing/unplugging the USB cable.
Also if it works use the: “Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media” feature on i.e. Windows.

Causes of a Corrupted SD Card on Android
From How to Fix a Corrupted SD Card on Android Without a Computer
“SD and MicroSD cards can sometimes trigger a corruption error message when they’ve been used on multiple types of devices or have been physically removed from a device while a file was being accessed or transferred.”

And at a last resort a Kompakt App for repairing the filesystem would be helpful. Something like TestDisk: Partition Recovery and File Undelete
This blog seems to have the detail answers for repairing the SD Card with fsck: https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/38745/check-and-fix-sd-card-errors-within-android-itself

If you are experienced with the shell, open the shell as admin:

Windows → chkdsk /f [drive-letter]:

Linux → fsck -y [device-path]

MacOS →
sudo diskutil list
sudo fsck [device-path]
optionally if invalid b-tree node size message → sudo fsck_hfs -r -d [device-path]
