Do not let your Kompakt’s battery die. A couple months ago I let this happen and I was told a software bug would prevent the phone from booting properly, but in the newest version of the OS this should be fixed. I had to send in my phone for repairs which took about a month Fast forward to today, phone died, Bricked all over again. Even trying the dev boot mode is giving no results so now im just hoping I can get my support ticket answered quickly ![]()
Mmh, that’s a good thing to know. Thank you.
So it’s adviced not to charge over 80% and not go down under… under how many?
Doesn’t rest a lot of the battery.
AFAIR 20-80% is the best range for longevity. But if it’s too much stress, just do whatever, there are spare batteries available. ![]()
I had my Kompakt go down to 0% few times but never got it bricked, thankfully.
I’ve pinged our team about this. This is quite odd & it shouldn’t be like this. I let my Kompakt die all the time- because I just forget to charge it
and it dies overnight.
To reiterate, @tristan_flowers bug seems unique; @shadock, you probably don’t need to take this as a rule.
I’ve let my device die multiple times, it has no trouble booting back up when I plug it in and let it start recharging.
@tristan_flowers I’ve notified customer service of this. This is not the way it should be.
