Dear Community, as the title says, I would like to clear my call list on MK in the recents tab. I just can’ find a way to do it. Does anyone know how to do it? Or is it just piling up until the end of time?
I posted about this 24 days ago:
Ah, thanks. So no way to clear it. Hmmm
My impression is that Mudita will not address this until AFTER the July-2025 update, which seems to be focused on the Music app.
Meanwhile, you, many others, and I must put up with cluttered “Recents” tabs!
And blocking a number does not remove it from the Recents either. So, you can accidentally call that telemarketer back to get your vehicle’s extended warranty!
@zoltan Our team is aware of this limitation & they are working on addressing it in a future update.
For anyone still wondering how to clear list of recent calls, one possible workaround accessible currently is via the following ADB command:
adb shell content delete --uri content://call_log/calls
In case you are used to establishing a shell session first using “adb shell”, then you can directly execute the remainder of the command “content delete […]”.
This will delete the entire history of calls under section ‘Recents’ in the Phone app.
Happy peace-of-mind! ![]()
Just a bit of a heads up, we are planning to have this option in a future update planned for next year: MuditaOS K Roadmap & Updates
