For anyone that wants the Mudita Pure in Canada it works FLAWLESSLY on the Fizz network!
I have tested this phone for calls and texts both outbound and inbound texts and it works with ZERO ISSUE. What is amazing is this works down in my basement!
I am so happy right now. I have always loved this phone and my gut told me to try it out on Fizz because its uses rogers network which the Mudita previously worked on and LTE and for some reason it works stronger on this network than any other network in Canada.
I am honestly not even sure I am getting the Kompakt now lol

I have been using this phone IN MY BASEMENT for 30 mins, with no loss of signal, made a phone call to a store they never said anything about not being able to hear me, christmas has come early for me lol

Heading downtown tomorrow to watch the Lion King broadway show will see how the phone holds up but I can honestly say this is the best this phone has ever performed , I was NEVER able to get connection in my basement for texts ever, and most other providers calls as well. Just unreal how well the phone is working

Canada - Fizz (great reception, VOLTE still untested)
Serbia - A1 (can enable VOLTE, good reception everywhere except basement ), will test MTS if I buy phone again
etc.
This is waaay better then letting users experiment on their own

I am so happy using this phone, last night connection was perfect in the basement, anywhere in the house and I already know outside will be fantastic as well. I JUST WISH, I knew about Fizz mobile like 2.5 years ago when I first got the pure I could have been using it all this time lol

Yeah afraid its a little to little too late lol, everyone has moved on the kompakt, I am still getting it , but I know from time to time I will still put my sim card in my Pure just love this phone!

No its not, its still on outlet sale. As long as it s on sale every bit of useful info, feature info or small patches helps

lol yeah I was afraid I was going to wake up and it was all a dream but connection has stayed constant no issues whatsoever, it connects with Lte and sometimes at 3g, I have a feeling it will drain the battery but I barely use the phone so I am not concerned with that. To me its a phone for FOCUS, the point is not to use it, i even like that the texting is old school t9 which discourages you from long messages back and forth.

Ah, I am not fan of text prediction, thus I would prefer QWERTY over T9 or Android, but thats me. Pure had potential with small screen.
Since Pure is almost at Kompakt price, I bet it will be in outlet UNTIL Kompakt sales start, which is about next 6 months. H1, H2 and it make current bread and butter, beside KS and crowdfunding, so I hope they deserve some love once Kompakt mania is done (lets say in 1.5 years). If not completely forgotten by then.
I hold it as moral debt to past users. Not all will move to Kompakt, but Kompakt will attract new user base.
P.S. dont forget to ask operator to enable VOLTE. You will save some calls and use some 4G that you can otherwise use just for tethering.

You know @minimalist4life that you have 14 days to test Kompakt as well. If it’s not working for you, you can always return it

Yeah I won’t LOL, I know I will LOVE that phone as well. I honestly want to own both, I see myself putting the sim in my pure for local holiday or even, like for example tonight I am going to see the Lion King broadway show with my wife and kids, pure will be with me in DND mode!

I hope you are right, I do hope there will be a Mudita pure 2 but to be honest I don’t see it in the cards, also to add to my testing this morning I went into a walmart and my signal at first died lol, I was like crap because this use to happen all the time when I had the phone before but what I have seen is in a new environment it just needs a little time to figure out the signal, literally took about 2 mins and I was backed connected. I am currently at the libary and this is a spot where I would always have to be near a window to get connection but the connection has held PERFECTLY for the hour I have been here, was able to text back and forth with the wife and some friends with zero issues and even made some test calls and everything worked PERFECTLY, this experience has been amazing this is what I always wanted to experience with this phone and like I mentioned before having this phone and using it till May 2025 when the kompakt comes out makes the wait for the Kompakt much easier!

Also I have a question about the notes app on the Pure, is there way of hitting shift or something so I can continue writing below a entry? Right now if for example I want to make a to do list I have to make seperate notes for each entry, is there a way of having a single note with a list of things underneath the text?

Note app also needs love.
There is certain niche market for pure2 and it fits mudita philosophy way more. But takes much harder route
I am talking about updating current unfinished sw, since I don’t find feature set usable per advertised.
Will there be 2 is up to team, but I fear Kompakts much better success, seen even at KS level, shall forever set them on modded smartie route.
Even to level no significant updates will come to harmony and older phone, dubbed obsolete

It is interesting there are some occasional dead spots for the phone in my house but its nothing major, I know where those spots are, but right now I transitioned to the basement and it is taking a bit of time to catch signal again, took about 2 mins of me being in the basement for it to connect back to LTE, vs when I had it before the connection would just be dead and stay dead till I made my way upstairs
It is funny because the connection in my basement last basically forever when it connects , its better than an area in my family room which is obviously above ground but the connection there is hit or miss very strange how in the basement its better , major thing was when I was out and about the phone was not frustrating to use like the first few times I had it

Well I had same good experience outdoor.
However, biggest caveat for me was once it lost signal it would keep looking for signal even outdoors, draining the battery and often only reset would help regaining reception. I believe this is software fixable, unless inherent to antenna.
Do you experience the same, or signal is quickly restored once out of blind spots and basements?
