Hi there. Received my Kompakt a couple of days ago and love it so far! But I have a question - can you remove the padlock icon on the lock screen? I don’t need the constant reminder where the lock button is, and would like a plain white screen. Hope you can help, and thank you.

As of now, it’s not possible. Customization of the lock screen is coming in a future update.

I think so too. It serves as a guide to unlock the phone.

Yes, exactly. I guess for us, it’s clear where we unlock the phone, but if someone else had to unlock it for us, they’d know immediately where.
But for me, there’s an even bigger reason why I like the unlock symbol. And this is for a psychological reason, because I think if the screen were completely white, you’d be more likely to think, “What’s on the screen when I unlock it? Is there something there? A notification?” Seeing the small symbol doesn’t trigger the same kind of curiosity you usually get with smartphones. You just see the little symbol and think, “Yeah, okay, who cares.” So, there’s already something on the screen, and that’s why it doesn’t make you as curious. I don’t know if that was one of Mudita’s reasons, but I just wanted to explain the psychological perspective behind it, which at least makes sense to me.
