Olauncher, or other minimalist launcher

I want to try a text based launcher, when I tried it last I noticed it would not stick meaning, sometimes it would show the text based launcher or then revert back to the mudita regular launcher, am I missing something?

I also decided I am going to sideload yelp and use it as a directory tool very similar to the light phone 2

From another thread…

I accidentally disable mine before the other one was set up correctly my first time doing it and had to factory reset but it was fine when I did it the next time.

Is this somewhere in Wedadb

Actually you know what its all good, I don’t want a text based launcher, with the apps within plain site I am going to get bored and start playing around with the phone for no reason, I like the current set up where the apps are all behind the app icon on the front of the phone, I also went ahead and closed down and hid any app I don’t need right there and then like yelp, a train schedule app that I sideloaded etc, onenote

Its honestly really nice to sideload useful non addictive apps that are actual tools, I like the term minimalist phone a lot now, I use to be very much into having pure a dumbphone but the reality is in this day and age its very hard to live like that, Mudita has really created a functional middleway that keeps you present in life while giving you all the apps you need for your day to day

I know what you mean. I bought this phone with intent on having a middle ground. I can’t make a true dumb phone work in my life.

The text based launchers can hide all the apps on a secondary page. They don’t all have to be on the main page.

If you’re using WebADB, you need to drop the “adb shell” part. It’s not necessary.
