I stopped using the kompakt in November 2025 because I was flying to London and needed maps and when i came back, I stuck to my smartphone (cheap budget samsung). Last week the phone fell out of my pocket as I was exiting my car and smashed off the ground and I was looking into buying a refurbished S26 for 400 euro but remembered I had the kompakt. I charged it up, updated all the software and found out how i can get essential apps for my job such as waze (I’m a courier) and I fell in love with the phone again. 10/10 experience, I’m very happy that i didn’t go for the S26. Life is great without mindlessly scrolling instagram. I don’t forgive it for introducing me to chess and making me get addicted to that painful game though haha.
