Einkbro I think it’s the best browser for the Kompakt.
Not saying Google Maps works properly, but well enough to do what that user was trying to do.

Maybe I missing something, I reveive my Kompakt few days ago and it is in 1.5.0
In the software update menu, that say me “MuditaOS K est à jour, version actuelle 1.5.0”… I can’t install the 1.6.0 ?

Because they are not planing to fix it now. Fixes might come in the next official update (that will be months away). This was their policy on fixes for all of the updates up to now. After reading the new bugs described from other users, I decided not to update the phone at all.

All works fine here in Macedonia after update to 1.6.0 Last weekend
None of the mentioned issues happened with my phone.

It’s a shame we have to handle it this way. On the forum, some people act as “beta testers” and report the new bugs, while the rest—who have learned from past experience—wait to see what bugs are reported and then decide not to install the update. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to just click “Update” without a second thought when the new update is released.

Assumed the roll out was paused! Normally I’ve had the update within a few days but still nothing - just unlucky (or lucky?) this time I guess

I support the idea of making a beta version specifically for the public.

@urszula Maybe you already do this and I just do not know or have not heard - why not get a small pool of beta testers from across the world and do beta releases prior to general release?I do not know how many or how big it would have to be to meaningfully capture any bugs but that might save a lot of frustration. Beta release 2 weeks prior to planned release? And those who volunteered for Beta can’t really grip about the bugs as they would expect to see one or two - at least I would. 2 cents.

First and foremost, we’d like to thank our Mudita Community for your patience while our team investigated the two most significant issues reported following the release of MuditaOS K 1.6.
We can now confirm that both the SIM PIN issue connected to enabling & disabling Offline+, as well as the ghost notifications which appeared as missed/unanswered or rejected calls and could not be cleared, and were reported by users, will be addressed in an upcoming hotfix, which our team is working to release as soon as possible.
In the meantime, we have paused the remaining batches of the MuditaOS K 1.6 rollout. This will allow us to resolve these issues before making the update available to additional users.
If you have already updated to MuditaOS K 1.6, you do not need to take any action at this time. We will share more information as soon as the hotfix is ready.

Appreciate it! I did have the phone notification issue but it was ultimately just a harmless annoyance, otherwise appreciate the update and the continuous communication with users in the forums.

FINALLY a hotfix!!! Did I really have to live until my 120th birthday to see this day ? 
And now that all forum members have been recognized as beta testers, we will finally all get paid by Mudita, yay!

I have the same issue. It indicates that I have 2 missed calls, even after restarting the phone.

I just have to say, I love the new keyboard with support for Norwegian language. I has all I’ve ever missed in the Kompakt keyboard. Thank you!
