Hey everyone,

As many of you already noticed, we started rolling out the MuditaOS K 1.5.0 update last week :tada:

The rollout is happening in batches, and the remaining users should receive the update in the next few days. Thank you again for your patience while we worked to make sure everything was stable, polished, and ready for everyday use.

Update seems to have been working fine so far.

Gps is ofc way faster.

Mine is just at doing the update.

First silly thing to say, my MK first refused to do the update because either lake of storage or less then 50% battery.

Storage checked: ok

Battery: ok only 49% but the MK was connected to the charger, so what…

Great update, keep up the progress. Is there any chance for a GREEK keyboard in the near future. I’m sick of tired in using third party keyboards, there not optimism for MUDITA.

Darn, no update for me yet. I’m soooo looking forward to this, as it sounds like you’ve addressed my key concern (sensitivity). Oh, well. Good things come to those who wait!

The new keyboard is really really good. It is more responsive, the suggestions are relevant, it is also great punctuations marks are proposed at the top (no more double taps find simple stuff) and there are both suggestions + spellings corrections suggestions ; I have no more “double triggers”, the accented characters are faster to get, all the emojis are here, etc etc. I will have massively more pleasure writing text now.

Overall it’s a great update with massive improvements over 2 core components + other stuff.

My biggest remaining hardware related issue is having my provider enable VoLTE for the Kompakt.

My main remaining software related complain is having the music player play albums in the right order but that is planned :slight_smile:

Find the keyboard much better to.

Seems that the screen is better too, much responsive, less shadow. But maybe it’s psychological.

Big disappointment: with the sms I have still the same problem: I send one to somebody and the answer comes in another conversation. Described this problem several times here on the forum, still here.

I’ve had the same issue with SMS. It goes once to everyone in the group, then once again to each individual in a separate text.

You can turn this off in the app settings.

This is actually a setting you can turn off, I’m not sure why it’s on by default but you can turn it off. Should be in the settings for the SMS app itself.

I’ve switched to InkMessage so I don’t remember exactly where the setting is, but it’s in the settings for the SMS app itself.

Open the SMS app. Top right, the three lines between the + and pencil. Then choose your sim. First option is group messaging option.

e-Reader is now very good to read, fonts are displayed dark compared to light before this update.

I deeply love the update. Lots of new emojis! I like the keyboard changes its functions on each apps. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
