Mudita Kompakt Not Booting

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble getting my Mudita Kompakt to boot.

While holding the power button, you can see the phone going from the Mudita logo screen to a black screen a couple of times. Afterwards the battery-charging indicator flashes green briefly, and that’s it.

Anyone any ideas what’s wrong / how I can resolve this?

@bertdeblock Welcome to the Mudita Forum. We’re glad that you’re here. I will ask our team about this, but I just want to make sure we’re all on the same page.
Is this the first time this has happened? Did it boot up fine before & now this is happening? OR is this just happening straight out of the box?

The first time indeed.
I’ve had the phone for a couple of months.
I’ve used it the first few months, and then switched back to my old device for a while.
I wanted to check out the new software update, and now it happens.

Some extra info:

  • I’ve made sure the phone is charged
  • I’ve already tried a factory reset (hold power + volume button), to no avail
