I know, it’s not exactly what you’d call a dumb phone but I just really like the camera has that “vintage” look and would love to use it for my stop-motion projects. DragonFrame is the go-to software for creating stop-motion. It lets you control a DSLR directly from the software (so you don’t have to touch the camera itself). Anyway, DragonFrame also lets you control a webcam over USB. I’ve been able to use even a betacam camera and old security cameras with the help of all kinds of adapters. But using the Kompakt as a camera would be a great new toy to experiment with!
@sennedriesen Interesting use case. However, my tech knowledge is a but limited to be of any help here. Maybe someone from the community can give you more insight.
also, i am working on a stop motion app (not specifically for the Mudita). I film stop-motion animation and like the ease of shooting on the smartphone format, but Stop Motion Studio doesn’t have a few features I’m looking for (and it’s not open-source), so I’m building my own.
