Meditation App?

Is anyone using the meditation app?

I use it for reading books.
Does anyone know if meditation mode makes your phone offline? I mean, for example it rejects incoming calls?

Yes, I do. That’s one of the reasons I chose the Kompakt as my phone :slightly_smiling_face:

Just tested it, it doesn´t put it in offline, but you don’t get any ringing or vibration from the incoming call, you´ll only have an unanswered call after the meditation.

Thanks a lot for checking it!

I’ve been using it just about every day and love it. Simple, flexible, does what I need it to do and has helped bring balance. I’m a chaplain, so the fact that a device designed for minimalism recognizes spiritual needs was one of the biggest selling points for me.

As is its fine, if Mudita ever wants to expand it I’d recommend adding in something for wellness/resiliency skills, like tracking if you are in a hyper or hypoarousal state, and offering bit of text on techniques you can use to return to balance. If you want to get fancy, let me record a mantra with the Recordings App, and set it to play instead of the gong interval sound.

I’ve started to use it the last few days. Only had the phone a week.
Would love to be able to set the gong volume in app so I can keep it a nice low volume.
If they want to add more features, an integrated journal that opens post session to prompt reflection would be cool.

Additional thought: the last few days I have sat past the end chime. In a previous app I used, there was a timer that would count up after until I pressed stop.
So say I intend to sit for 10 minutes, after the chime I’m in the flow and want to keep going. I sit 13 minutes, but it still logs it as the 10 minutes until the chime.

yes, would very much like that as well.the post session upcounting as well and also setting volume in app is a must, I always need to got to settings to check media volume, because it is much too loud otherwise.

I’ve passed on these suggestions to the team @jawn & @tilmanbergt

I would love it if there would be instructions like for yoga practices. Most of these instructions online are videos and I mostly like to have verbal instructions for instance the sun salutation routine or hatha or ashtanga. Is this a possibility?
