love the new update and the fixes but the camera does not work anymore. It said something about a crash and then it stopped working.

I restarted my kompakt but the bug persist. Any help?

@tobi Have you tried this:

Go to System → Developer options → Privacy and toggle the “Camera access” radio button.
Hope this helps!

Mine doesn’t work after update either

Thanks @urszula , it worked.
I don’t know if this is common, but on mine phone the privacy settings are not visible on the menu. You need to search ‘privacy’ and from there toggle the camera option.
Have a nice day everyone.

Could someone take a screenshot of where it is because I can’t find it in the System tab.

Here it is, whitin System > developer options, just tap the search button and search for privacy. @dawidmroz1990

Thank you, but I go to Settings, then System, and then I only see three options: 1. System language and keyboard 2. Date and time 3. Factory reset. And there’s no search option (magnifying glass) at the top.

To get the developer options, go to Settings > About, and then tap on Build number at least 7 times. It will enable this developer options menu for you.

I had this same issue happen yesterday.

Situation: My camera app opened normally, flash worked, and gallery worked, but my camera didn’t turn on. It was a blank screen. I sideloaded another camera app and tried whatsapp’s camera only to find out that a) none of them worked and b) that the error was “Some other app on the device was using the camera” - to paraprhase that’s the error code that showed up.

Solution: after trying resets, closing apps, deleting apps, etc, what promptly solved the issue was… switching to Offline+ and then back. It was that simple, but very frustrating.

Today, the camera problem returned. This time, the camera froze so much that I had to reset the phone. The camera started working again after I followed the steps above. I suggest fixing this issue in the next update.

Enable Developer options by tapping Build number 7 times.
Then go to System → Developer options → Privacy and toggle the “Camera access” radio button.

OR

See if it works if you just toggle Offline+ on and off.

Could activate the Developer Option but can’t find something about Privacy in System.

You will find it through search icon in the top right corner. Just write privacy
