Hi there,
love the new update and the fixes but the camera does not work anymore. It said something about a crash and then it stopped working.
I restarted my kompakt but the bug persist. Any help?

Hi guys, same problem here.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
I have this same problem.
@tobi Have you tried this:
Go to System â Developer options â Privacy and toggle the âCamera accessâ radio button.
Hope this helps!
Mine doesnât work after update either
Thanks @urszula , it worked.
I donât know if this is common, but on mine phone the privacy settings are not visible on the menu. You need to search âprivacyâ and from there toggle the camera option.
Have a nice day everyone.
Could someone take a screenshot of where it is because I canât find it in the System tab.
Thank you, but I go to Settings, then System, and then I only see three options: 1. System language and keyboard 2. Date and time 3. Factory reset. And thereâs no search option (magnifying glass) at the top.
To get the developer options, go to Settings > About, and then tap on Build number at least 7 times. It will enable this developer options menu for you.
OK, I see now. It helped, the camera is working now. Thank you very much for your help
@urszula @janmah @damian1
the camera is suddenly working again⌠I did nothing it just came up today⌠weird
I had this same issue happen yesterday.
Situation: My camera app opened normally, flash worked, and gallery worked, but my camera didnât turn on. It was a blank screen. I sideloaded another camera app and tried whatsappâs camera only to find out that a) none of them worked and b) that the error was âSome other app on the device was using the cameraâ - to paraprhase thatâs the error code that showed up.
Solution: after trying resets, closing apps, deleting apps, etc, what promptly solved the issue was⌠switching to Offline+ and then back. It was that simple, but very frustrating.
Today, the camera problem returned. This time, the camera froze so much that I had to reset the phone. The camera started working again after I followed the steps above. I suggest fixing this issue in the next update.
After the update of OS the camera stopped working and it crashes the phone. I had to restart the phone and the crashing stopped but the camera is stil not working.
Enable Developer options by tapping Build number 7 times.
Then go to System â Developer options â Privacy and toggle the âCamera accessâ radio button.
OR
See if it works if you just toggle Offline+ on and off.
Could activate the Developer Option but canât find something about Privacy in System.
You will find it through search icon in the top right corner. Just write privacy
Thanks wasnât aware of this search field.
Had to find out how Privacy is translated into French. Now it work.
Thanks a lot.
Happy to help, I also learned it here on the forum.
