@jambon This is definitely ODD behavior. As I understand it, your HOTSPOT remained ON over night & drained your entire battery. When you picked up the phone the next day, the phone was dead & you had to recharge it. Then when you turned it back on, it looked like the phone factory-reset itself?
The Hotspot auto turn off feature just doesn’t work for me as I’ve spoken about in the other tread.
I fell asleep with the hotspot on and overnight it drained the battery. I had about an hour of battery left. By the time I got to work and got around to charging it it had turned off . I put a charge in it and turned it back on and I got the ;
" welcome to Mudita " and emergency call only screen .
The phone had factory reset.
I had to set up phone again.
Strangely it still had the latest firmware update.
These correspondences are quite technical and specific around the functioning of a device. For balance , life is beautiful , we are all one.
Hi, I just want to comment on this sentence: “Strangely it still had the latest firmware update.”
Phones (different brands) typically don’t revert to previous firmware versions after factory reset. They keep the latest update even after factory reset. It’s normal behaviour.
