I have mixed feelings about the Kompakt case. I usually keep my phone in a case, but this one adds a lot of weight and thickness. Plus, I don’t know how they managed it, but the case feels slippery and sticky at the same time.
It’s barely possible to put it in a jeans pocket because the material clings to fabric and doesn’t ‘slide’, and with the case, the phone is too thick to carry in your pocket.
On the other hand, the case is really slippery in my hands, especially when fingers are a bit sweaty.
I wonder how other people feel about the case and whether it would be advised to just use the phone without it. Although I love the sage green color! 
What about the repairability of the back cover? Will it be available as a spare part?

I also removed the case today, I’m using the pouch it came in as a protection from scratches. I’m feeling this case is not for me too, I hope they’ll make a better version.
- I don’t like the thickness of the case
- It is not slippery for me, but I so much prefer the feeling of the phone itself
I also asked about the replacement back covers I hope Urszula can answer that for us.

I think I will use the device without a case most of the time. I used it without a case for the first week and loved the size of the device. Then I added the case and suddenly it felt very large (in hand and in pocket).
I don’t have the problem with it feeling slippery, but agree it’s not as easy to put in your pocket. I like how the surface feels (and the color is very nice), I think my main complaint is the thickness.
Likely I will just add the case when I’m doing something where I think there is more risk of dropping or damaging the device - then remove it again.

I really like the cases. They are very nice in touch. One disadvantage is that fluff from clothes etc. easily sticks to them and it’s hard to take it off but overall, I like the case because of the velvet feeling.

I agree on the point the case makes it difficult to fit in a tight pocket 
and it catches particles/dirt easily. I like it though and I have fun imagining I’m pushing it into a holster. 
That’s an interesting approach! Personally I’d think of some kind of a pouch that I could attach to my kidney bag strap like I do with a multitool pouch.

Oh and by the way… when the sensor is so drowsy that you need to press the button to wake it up, I always get the pinpad up even though using the right finger.

I have just the case not the phone yet and yeah I do find it slippery, I have a feeling I will not be putting in on the Kompakt, I never put cases on my phone and if I do its for literally less than a day and I get sick of it lol, or if I am out on a trip hiking etc, I do find because I don’t have a case on my light phone 2 I am consciously more careful with it. I don’t like the idea of adding extra bulk to a device

I’m using the case and the pouch it came with, I actually think the case is very good and it would definitely provide protection if it were to be dropped.

I agree, overall it’s a nice case. I just really like this phone (size, shape, material) without a case on it, so I’ll likely remove it. Nothing wrong with the case though.
One key benefit, is the case reduces the random vibrations and accidental unlocks from the fingerprint sensor

Same! Ideally I would like a similarly sized pouch which is just a bit more robust, though. Does anybody have suggestions?

@csllr Thank for the feedback. I have passed it on to our designer. Personally, I’m a fan of the case, because it was made especially with Kompakt in mind. However, I understand that texture, feel and sensation can be very subjective, so we do appreciate everyone chiming in with their feedback.

I love the phone and the case and the phone in the case and without the case. Unfortunately for me the phone is slippery sometimes. I have the white one and it has a more slippery finish. But I find the phone in the case also a bit bulky, so I only put it in when I have loose pockets and the phone would slide out. But I’d say it’s one of the nicest cases I had. I really like the touch of it.

Ok, I tried blowing on it now. I had two small hairs on the case and they flew off easily haha thanks for the tip!
