Issues with Park Mobile App

I just got my Kompakt after being on the fence for a while. Loving the experience so far and now I am in the phase of trying to get a few of my “essential” apps on the device. Essential to me meaning things I can install so I can leave my house with just my Kompakt and not be too inconvenienced; one of those apps is Park Mobile. I can install it on the device from Aurora store but I have not been able to sign into the app. On the Park Mobile app you sign in by getting a code that the app texts to you or your email, but no matter which option I pick the code never arrives.

Anyone have success logging into Park Mobile or have ideas how to troubleshoot? I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times, even tried using an older version of the app but still no luck.

It looks like it may not authenticate without play services.

That is a bummer, I thought I had it running on another de-googled device but perhaps it worked cause of MicroG.

I have Park & Pay working on my MK.

Î’ve installed an old apk that doesn’t use Google services.

Can’t remember if I have activated it in a browser on a pc but think so it was. Once the account created I could log in on my MK.
