I just installed this… and it keeps refreshing the screen constantly. Is this normal? I have “auto refresh” off… It’s kind of annoying.
Have you enabled E-Ink mode perhaps?
@justdanwithaplan Just like @darenju said You have also enabled E-ink mode
Which makes the texts smoother but it auto updates itself. It’s a normal thing for E-ink displays. You can turn it off.
Thank you so much for this! I have just installed it and I love it. I am wondering - what are the default calendar, clock and files app that came with the OS?
Those don’t come with inkOS those are part of the AOSP android, Mudita launcher just doesn’t show them to you, but inkOS does. You can hide them if you don’t want them.
How to do you get the beautiful wallpaper backgrounds?
I can’t seem to find this anywhere in the settings - is it a feature coming in the future?
You can download some wallpapers here:
You can add them in Settings / Look & Feel / Background Images (home image).
LOL. I still have a palm OS that works ![]()
OK, that’s where I have an issue. The look & feel section won’t scroll down. I can see there’s two dots so there should be another page, but it won’t scroll, it’s just stuck. What should I do to fix this?
I’m not sure what your issue is.
Background Image is in the 1st page of Look and feel, there’s no need to scroll down.
Also there’s no normal scroll, only pages swipe up and down for pages.
Please show a screenshot or a photo how your screen looks, otherwise I can’t help you
Thank you - mine looks different - there’s no background images section and I can’t swipe to scroll to see more.
Oh, I figured it out, I had the older version. I’ve downloaded the newer version off github
You have installed v0.1, sorry I just noticed we’re at the old topic:
Here’s the link for newest, the wallpaper function was only added on v0.2.
Please for any question post to the v0.2 topic not here:
To the rest: Please don’t post anything after this.
@urszula Please lock this topic because I asked users to stop posting here because it causes confusion for some features that weren’t in v0.1
